This was written for PSP 9 but will work in other versions.

Open the font and minimize.

A tube of your choice - A sitting one works best.

Step 1:
Open the scrap backgrounds in psp and decide which one you want to use as the background. I chose gold but the choice is yours.
Open one of the 3 present stacks (or a combinations of single presents if you prefer.
Open 2 star frames of your choice. I chose the red and green to contrast against the gold background.
Open the Christmas bow of your choice and the Christmas Lights.
Open a new image 600 x 600 pixels. Flood fill with white.
Add a new raster layer and flood fill with your chosen background.
Open the mask in psp and minimize.
Go to layer - new mask layer from image and select the mask you are using.
If you are using the mask I used them make sure Source Lumimence is checked and invert mask is UNchecked.
On the layer palette right click and delete the mask layer. Click on the top Group layer and merge group.
Resize the group layer by 95% bicubic selected.
Merge all visible and rename background.
Copy and paste the present tube as a new layer, position it at the center bottom of the canvas. Rename this layer Present.
If you are using a tube that sits on top of the present select your lasoo tool set to Point to Point - Add/Shift and just draw around the gold bows that stick out. Press delete on your keyboard.

Add the following Drop Shadow to the presents.
V and H = 5
Opacity = 50
Blur = 5
Colour = black
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer, position and add the same drop shadow. Rename this layer Tube.
Minimize the original tube as we will be using it later.
Open your Christmas lights and resize by 85% Bicubic selected. Copy and paste this onto your canvas.
Move this below your main tube layer. Rename this layer Lights. Duplicate twice. We will be adding the animation to these later.
Step 2:
Maximize your Star Frames and copy the one you want at the top. Paste it as a new layer on your canvas.
Resize by 65% Bicubic selected and position so the top point is in the center of the lights. Move this layer to just above your background layer.
Copy the second Star Frame and paste is as a new layer. Resize by 65% Bicubic selected and position so the top point is in the center of the top frame.

Hide all layers apart from your Star Frames and merge these visible. Duplicate and mirror.
Unhide all the other layers and postion the mirrored frames.
Hide all layers again apart from your two Star Frames and merge these visible. Rename Frames.
Unhide all layers.
Select your Magic Wand with the following settings.
Click inside the top left frame and go to Selection Modify Expand by 4.
Maximize your tube. Copy and paste your tube as a new layer and position it so the face is showing in the Frame. Resize it if neccessary.
DO NOT close the original tube yet.
Selections - Invert and hit delete on your keyboard. Deselect.
Move this layer below your Frame layer.
OPTIONAL
Apply the Xero - Porcelain filter with the following settings.
Duplicate the face and go to Image Mirror. Position it inside the top Right Frame.
Select your Magic Wand with the same settings we used earlier.
Activate your Frame layer and click inside the bottom left frame and go to Selection Modify Expand by 4.
Maximize your tube again and Mirror. Copy and paste your tube as a new layer and position it so the face is showing in the Frame. Resize it if neccessary.
Selections - Invert and hit delete on your keyboard. Deselect.
Move this layer below your Frame layer.
OPTIONAL
Apply the Xero - Porcelain filter with the same settings we used above.
Duplicate the face and go to Image Mirror. Position it inside the bottom Right Frame.
Activate your Frame Layer and apply the following drop Shadow
V and H = 5
Opacity = 50
Blur = 5
Colour = black
Activate your top layer. Copy and paste your Christmas bow as a new layer.
Resize it by 35% Bicubic selected.
Move it so it sits on the bottom of the frame and move it to just above the frame layer.
Duplicate - mirror and position it on the opposite side.
Add the same Drop shadow we used earlier to both Bow layers.
Step 3:
Hide your main tube layer and your 3 Lights layers and Merge all visible.
Image resize 75% Bicubic Selected ALL Layers checked.
Click on the top layer to activate it.
Open the MontiChristmasRGG-Paper-Gold.jpg and either the MontiChristmasRGG-Paper-GreenStars.jpg or the MontiChristmasRGG-Paper-RedStars.jpg in psp and minimize them.
set your foreground to the Gold Paper and your background to either the Red or Green Stars background.
select your text tool, Font - OldChristmas Regular, Stroke - 2, Size - 72, Vector Checked.
Type out your name and position it to the bottom of the image. Go to Object - Align- Horizontal Center in Canvas.
Convert to Raster Layer and apply the Eye Candy 3.1 Glass Preset using the settings shown below OR apply your favourite Inner bevel.
Apply the same Drop Shadow we used earlier.
Add the artists copyright and your watermark.
Step 4:
Open Animation shop.
Back in PSP hide your 2 copies of the Lights layer.
Activate your original Lights layer and select your Lasoo Tool set to Point to Point - Add/Shift - Feather - 0.
Zoom in on your image so you can see the lights clearly.
Use your lasoo tool to draw around the gold light on the left and the green light on the right. Go to selections - Float.
Go to Adjust - Brightness and Contrast and change the Brightness to 55 and the Contrast to 11. Deselect.
Add the following Drop Shadow.
V and H = 2
Opacity = 25
Blur = 2
Colour = black
Hide this layer and unide the first copy of Lights layer.
Use your lasoo tool to draw around the red lights. Go to selections - Float.
Go to Adjust - Brightness and Contrast and change the Brightness to 55 and the Contrast to 11. Deselect.
Repaet the Drop Shadow we used above.
Hide this layer and unide the second copy of Lights layer.
Use your lasoo tool to draw around the green light on the left and the gold light on the right. Go to selections - Float.
Go to Adjust - Brightness and Contrast and change the Brightness to 55 and the Contrast to 11. Deselect.
Repaet the Drop Shadow we used above.
Hide this layer and unhide the original Lights layer.
Go to Edit - Copy Merged and paste in Animation Shop.
Back in PSP hide the original Lights layer and unhide the first copy of Lights layer.
Go to Edit - Copy Merged and paste after current frame in Animation Shop.
Back in PSP hide the first copy of Lights layer and unide the second copy of Lights layer.
Go to Edit - Copy Merged and paste after frame 2 in Animation Shop.
Go to Edit - Select all and change the Frame Properties to 25.
Resize if you want to and save as a .gif.
