You may print out this tutorial for your own personal use, but please do not copy it in any way to put online, pass out or rewrite without my permission or worse yet attempt to claim as your own.

PLEASE NOTE:

This goes against the artists TOU that I use for my tuts and against my TOU.

For this tutorial you will need

Paint Shop Pro

A Font of your choice

I used House Holiday font which is a pay font so I cannot supply.

One or Two images of your Choice.
I am using the excellent artwork of Monte Moore. You can purchase a license to use his work from CILM.

Ok we are ready to start.

REMEMBER TO SAVE OFTEN

You can drag this arrow down the page with you to keep your place in the tut.
Script provided by Dynamic Drive.

Step 1:

Open a new 600 x 600 transparent image and flood fill with white.
Select your Preset Shapes, set to Ellipse.
Line Width - 4, Foreground - White, Background - any colour as we will be inserting the image into it.
Draw out a fairly big circle. Use my tag as a size guide.
Convert to Raster Layer.
Add the following Drop Shadow to the circle.
V & H = 0
Opacity = 80
Blur = 10
Colour = Black

Duplicate this circle and move it across to the right so the two circles overlap each other.
Select the first image of choice and go to Edit - Copy
Select your lefthand circle, and click inside the circle with your Magic Wand. Tolerance - 10, Feather - 0.
Now to insert the image.
Go to Edit - Paste - Paste as new Layer, then use your Mover Tool to move the image around inside the circle to the desired position.
When you are happy with the positioning go to Selections - Invert - then press Delete on your keyboard. This will get rid of any excess image outside of the circle.
Deselect.
Mirror the image you wish to use for the right circle and then repeat the steps above for your right hand circle, using a different image, or another part of the same image.

Add a smaller circle in the center between the two main ones using the same instructions as above but change the Line Width to 2.
Now to the smaller circles.
To finish off the image I put a few smaller circles around the middle circle, again use the same instructions as above.
I mirrored the image a few times too.
Experiment with it and see what looks best with the image you use.

Step 2:

Click on Layer 1 - your white background, to acticvate it.
Set your Foreground to Null and change your Background to a colour of choice. I used the red to fit in with the image colour.
Select your Preset Shapes again and draw a Circle to size - see tag for size guidance and position it in the center of the two large circles.
When you are happy convert this to a raster layer.
Duplicate this solid coloured circle.
Activate the original Solid Circle layer and go to Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur with a setting of 30, or as in all things psp, play around with the settings till you're happy.

Step 3:

To finish off, add the artists copyright details and your name.
I added my copyright details around the edge of the left circle.
Use your preset shapes on the Ellipse setting. Set your Foreground to a dark colour to show nicely and the backgroud colour null. Line Width - 2.
Draw a circle around the edge of the left circle then select your text tool.
Move your cursor on the line, you should see an angled 'A'. When you see this write the artists copyright details. I used Arial font, size - 8.
To get rid of the circle, click on the small '+' symbol next to the text vector layer, and click on the eye next to where it says Ellipse. That will leave you with just the curved text. When done convert to a Raster layer.
I added the website on the right hand circle using the same instructions.

Add your name using a font of your choice and add the following Drop Shadow.
V & H = 2
Opacity = 80
Blur = 5
Colour = Black

Add your watermark, and the tag is finished.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
