This tutorial was written by Rob on April 6th 2007. It's concept
is copyrighted to Rob. Any creation you make from my ideas are yours. You may print out
this tutorial for your own personal use, but please do not copy it in any way to put

own.
PLEASE NOTE: None of my tutorials or Scrap Kits are allowed to be used for tags being bought by My PSP Tubes or for any other form of monetary gain. This goes against the artists TOU that I use for my tuts and against my TOU.
For this tutorial you will need
Paint Shop Pro
Screws
These can be found on Dozi Baers site.
A Font of your choice
I used Ephesis which is a pay font so I cannot supply.
Tubes of your Choice.
I am using the wonderful art of Michael Landefeld. You can purchase a license to use his
work from CILM.
Ok we are ready to start.
REMEMBER TO SAVE OFTEN
You can drag this arrow down the page with you to keep your place in the tut.
Script provided by Dynamic Drive.
Step 1:
Open a new 600 x 600 transparent image and flood fill with white.
Select the main tube you want to use and copy and paste it as a new layer.
Add the following Drop Shadow.
Vertical = 0
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 80
Blur = 10
Colour = black
Set the Foreground to Metal Steel Gradient and the background to a colour of choice. In my case I used a dark colour from the tube.
Activate your Preset Shapes, draw a rectangle behind your tube, making sure Line Width is set to 5.
Now select 2 further tubes, and if they are not big enough already, go to Image - Resize to make them big enough to fill the rectangle.
See my tag for the basic idea.
Once you are happy with the size go to Edit - Copy.
Make sure you are on the Rectangle layer, and click inside with your Magic Wand, then go to Edit - Paste - Paste as new Layer, and move one of your 2 new images into place.
Once you are happy with the placing go to Selections - Invert and press Delete on your keyboard to get rid of anything outside the rectangle.
Repeat for the second image.
Deselect.
Lower the Opacity of both these tube laters to 50.
Add the following Drop Shadow to your rectangle layer.
Vertical = 0
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 80
Blur = 10
Colour = black
Resize your screws (if needed) and position one in each corner.
Add your name, the artists copyright and your watermark.
Step 2: Animation
On one of the two tube layers you have in your rectangle, set the opacity level to 50. Go to Edit - Copy Merged.
In Animation Shop, right click the mouse and click on Paste as New Animation.
Back in PSP move the opacity level to 60.
Go to Edit - Copy Merged.
Back in Animation Shop go to Edit - Paste - After Current Frame.
Now back in PSP, move the opacity level to 70, Copy Merged and paste After Current Frame in Animation Shop.
Repeat these steps with opacity level changes of 80, 90, 100, 90, 80, 70, 60, 50, making sure you Copy Merged and paste After Current Frame back to Animaton Shop with each change in opacity level.
Repeat all the above with your second tube.
When all that is finished you should have 21 Frames - and I know it was a lot of coming and going between PSP and AS (but well worth the effort!) - click on View - Animation to see your finished animation.
Now sit back, smile and relax, then go to File - Save as, and save as a gif and you're done!
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
