This was written for psp 9 but will work in other versions.

For this tutorial you will need

Paint Shop Pro

REMEMBER TO SAVE OFTEN

You can drag this arrow down the page with you to keep your place in the tut.
Script provided by Dynamic Drive.

Step 1:

Open your tube and Scrap tag in PSP. Open and minimize your fonts.
Open a new image 500 x 500 transparent image and flood fill with white.
Add a new Raster layer.
Set your foreground to a dark colour from your tube and your background to a light colour from your tube.
Activate your selection tool and choose Custom Selection with the settings shown below.

Fill with your dark colour. Go to Selections - Modify - Contract by 2 and fill with the light colour.
Deselect.
Go to Effects - VM Toolbox - Zoom Blur, both settings at 125.
Go to Image resize 80%, Bicubic selected.
Duplicate this layer and hide the duplicate.
Activate the original Zoom Blur layer and go to Effects - Xero - Fritillary with the settings shown below.

Activate the duplicate Zoom Blur layer and go to Image resize 80%, Bicubic selected.
Go to Rotate free rotate with the following settings.

Step 2:

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer. Resize as neccessary (I resized mine by 75%).
Add a Drop Shadow of your choice. I used
Vertical and Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 60
Blur = 10
Colour = Black

Copy and paste your Scrap tag as a new layer and position it. Move it below your Tube layer.
Add the same Drop Shadow.
Make sure you are on the Scrap Tag layer and activate your text tool with a font of your choice.
Set your foreground and background to the light colour from the tube, Vector selected, and type your saying on the tag.
I typed "I Believe".
Position and convert to raster layer.
Add the following Drop Shadow
Vertical and Horizontal = 1
Opacity = 37
Blur = 2
Colour = Black

Right click on the text layer in the layer palette and choose Merge Down to merge the text with the tag, that way if you need to move it slightly it can be moved as one.

Step 3:

Activate your top layer and change your foreground back to your dark colour from the tube. Leave the background on the light colour.
Change the font size to 72 and type your name.
Move it towards the bottom of your canvas. Go to Object Align Horizontal in Canvas and then convert to raster layer.
Add an inner bevel of your choice. I used

Add the following Drop Shadow
Vertical and Horizontal = 2
Opacity = 45
Blur = 4
Colour = Black

Add your artist copyright and your watermark as a new layer.

This is where you have a choice. If you want to animate continue to the next step.
If you wish to save as a non animated tag then hide your background layer and crop to size.
Unhide the background layer and save as a jpg.

Step 4: Animation

Open Anmation Shop.
Activate the copy of your Zoom Blur layer and paste in animation shop.
Go to Insert Image Effect - Rotate with the following settings

Go to Edit Select all.
Back in PSP delete the copy of Zoom Blur layer.
Hide all layers apart from the white background and the Fritallary layers. Copy merged and paste in Animation Shop.
Duplicate so you have 13 frames.
Edit Select all.
Copy and Paste the Rotate Image into the selected frame and make sure it is positioned in the center. You can now close the original Rotate frames.

Back in PSP hide the white background and the Fritillary layer and unhide all the other layers.
Copy Merged and paste in Animation Shop.
Activate your propergate paste

Copy the merged tube layer you just pasted into Animation Shop and activate your Rotating Image (make sure you still have all frames selected), paste into selected frame. Position it in the center.
Change the Frame properties to 25.
Crop off the excess white area and save as a gif.
