Fonts
I used Bank Gothic - Download HERE. Scroll down the page.
And Black Jack - Download HERE.

A tube of your choice.
I am using the wonderful art of Ted Hammond. You can purchase a license to use his work from CILM.

Open the tubes in PSP. Open the fonts and minimize them.


Ok we are ready to start.

Step 1:

Open a 500 x 500 white canvas.
Promote background to layer.
Copy and paste the crest as a new layer.
Copy and paste the tube as a new layer and move it into position.
Once you are happy with the placement of the tube duplicate the tube layer and move one below the crest layer and one above.
Activate the crest layer and go to Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat.
Activate the top tube layer and erase the bits you want to look behind the crest.
Deselect.
Activate the bottom tube layer and add a Drop Shadow of your choice.
I used Eye Candy 5 Impact - Perspective Shadow - Drop Shadow - Lowest.


Step 2:

Activate your text tool. Font - Bank Gothic - Foreground White - Background Black - Stroke 3 - Size 72 - Vector Checked.
Type the Capital Letter you want to appear in the crest. Use your nodes to stretch it out to fill the inside of the crest.
Convert to Raster Layer and apply the same drop shadow you used earlier.
Move this layer beneath the crest layer.


Step 3:

Change your font to Black Jack. Change the Foreground to Black and the Stroke to 1 and type your name. Use your nodes to position to your liking.
Add a Drop Shadow of your choice.
Move this layer to the top.

Add the artists copyright information and your watermark.
Hide the white background layer and crop image to size.
Save as a jpeg.
