3 Images of your Choice.
I am using the wonderful art of LuAnn Weiss. You can purchase a license to use her

Ok we are ready to start.
REMEMBER TO SAVE OFTEN
You can drag this arrow down the page with you to keep your place in the tut.
Script provided by Dynamic Drive.
Step 1:
Open a new 600 x 550 transparent image and flood fill with white.
Select the 'Preset Shape' tool, and choose the 'Rectangle'. Make a thin, vertical shape. Colour doesnt matter as we shall be using a chrome effect on these shapes.
Convert to Raster layer and duplicate this layer, then 'image', 'mirror' to create the sidepieces of the frame.
On the layers list, select one of the side pieces, duplicate this then 'image', 'rotate','free rotate'. Rotate either left or right by 90 degrees. Move this to the top of the frame, so as it sits on top of the side pieces.
On each of these rectangles go to your plug ins list, and select EC5 Impact - Chrome (or EC4000, though this has more limited options on effects).
Play around with the different effects in 'settings' to get the style you want - 'indoor platinum' is a good one for a nice, simple frame effect.
Use the 'smudge' feature of PSP to blend in the top part of the frame with the two side pieces.
Add the following drop shadow to all three of the chromed pieces.
Vertical = 0
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 80
Blur = 12
Colour = black
Step 2:
To angle the side pieces in towards each other, use the 'deform' tool - the square with dots around it. Once you've selected the tool, select on your layers menu, one of the side pieces. Look in the middle of the selected side piece..you should see a circle with a line coming from it, and a small square at the end of that line. When you put your cursor on it, you should see two arrows in a rotating pattern. On your mouse, left click and move the side piece to the required position.
See my tag for reference.
Repeat this with the other side piece.
In between the bottom of the two side pieces, use your chain to connect them up.
Use your selection tool to select unwanted bits of the chain, then press the 'delete' key on the keyboard. Use the eraser to make it look like the chain is connected to the two side pieces.
Add the same drop shadow as before.
Set this aside for the moment while we deal with the images.
Step 3:
Now to your images.
Select which you think will make the most visually striking main picture.
Go to 'image', 'add borders' and add a border of 2 in white. Set your foreground colour to the 'metal steel' gradient. Select the border of the picture with your magic wand, then flood fill with the gradient. Deselect.
Using my tag as a reference, copy and paste this image onto the frame we made earlier, resize the framed picture until you find a size that looks the way you want it.
With two other images, add the same borders to each and flood fill with the same gradient.
Copy and paste each as a new layer onto the main canvas. Resize these smaller so as they fit side-by-side, sitting on the bottom of the main image, slightly overlapping the corners of the frame. Add the following drop shadow to all three of the images.
Vertical = 0
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 80
Blur = 12
Colour = black
Step 4:
Take your piece of chain, 'edit' and 'copy' and place between the top of the frame and the main image, making it look like it's being suspended. Use your 'selection' tool to get rid of any excess chain (or hide the chain behind the image if feeling lazy!!).
Duplicate this, then mirror it, to complete the hanging effect.
Using your eraser tool, erase parts of the top loop, to make it look like its connected to the top frame.
Add the same Drop Shadow we used earlier.
Again using the chain, 'attach' the two smaller images to the top frame, then add a smaller bit of the chain, using the eraser tool again to make it look like its connected to the top.
Add a smaller bit of the chain in between the two smaller images, to link those up and add a drop shadow to the chain layers with the same setting as before.
To make it look like the chains are connected to the two smaller images, copy and paste one of the eyelets onto the image, just underneath the chain, then get one of your screws, resize that so it fits into the eyelet.
Add a drop shadow, with the same settings as before, to both the eyelet and the screw. Hide all the layers except for the eyelet and the screw and 'merge visible' those layers, then unhide all other layers.
Now duplicate the merged layer, and move it across to the other image.
Step 5:
Add a new raster layer.
Go to your Preset Shapes, and make a rectangle, foreground 'metal steel', and a background of a colour of your choice. partly across the bottom of the two smaller images, to create a sign for your name.
Take your hanger, delete parts of it as necessary. See my tag for example.
Copy that and paste onto the left of your sign, add a Drop Shadow to it with the same settings as before, then duplicate, and then mirror, 'hanging' your name sign from your two smaller images.
I used the font Huxlee Vertical for the name, with a foreground 'metal steel' and a black background.
Add the artists copyright and your watermark. Resize if required and save as a .jpg.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
