This was written for PSP 9 but will work in other versions.

The brushes all came as standard with my PSP but I am supplying them for those of you with different versions of PSP. The Ribbon and heart Bling were made by me. I have also enclosed the Heart preset which came with my PSP for those of you who don't have it.
Install your brushes and open the Ribbon in PSP and the Heart Bling in Animation Shop.

A Thick Font of your Choice

Ok we are ready to start.

Step 1:

Open a new image 600 x 600 and flood fill with white.
Set your Foreground to a meduim colour from your tube and your Background to null.
Select your Preset Shapes tool and choose Heart 1 - Create as Vector and Antialias Checked - Line style Solid - Width 30.
Hold down your shift key and draw out a large heart on your canvas and go to Objects - Align - Center in Canvas.
Convert to Raster layer.
Go to Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat and add a new Raster layer.
Locate the Fuzz Soft Brush and using a mixture of dark and pale shades of your heart colour add some texture to your heart.
Once you are happy with the look Deselect.
Hide the white background layer and Merge all Visible.
Add the following Inner Bevel and rename Heart Outline.



Step 2:

Select your Magic Wand - Tolerance 10 - Feather 0 and click inside the heart.
Go to Selections - Modify - Expand by 6 and add a new Raster layer.
Move it beneath your heart layer.
Fill this with a slightly lighter colour than you used for the heart outline.
DO NOT DESELECT.
If you have Filters Unlimited 2 add a paper texture of choice.
I used Fibourous Paper Fine but changed the intensity to 40.
Add a new Raster layer and using your choice of marble brushes (I used Marble 1) again add a selection of light and dark shades.
When you are happy with it Deselect.
Hide the heart outline and the white background and merge all visible.
Unhide all layers and activate your heart layer.
Add the following Drop Shadow
V and H = 2
Opacity = 30
Blur = 4
Colour = Black


Step 3:

Select your Preset Shapes again.
Stay on Heart 1 but change the Line Width to 2.
Set your Foreground to a dark colour and the Background to a pale colour.
Draw a small heart (about 40 x 40 pixels) in the center of your canvas. Move it towards the top of the big heart and convert to Raster.
Go to Selections - Select All - Float - Selections Modify Contract by 2.
Use your Marble 1 brush but reduce the size to 50 and add a slightly darker shade to the small heart.
Deselect.
Go to Effects - Mura Meisters Copies with the following settings


Use your mover tool to move it upwards so the tiny hearts at the top are level with the heart outline.
Duplicate this layer and move it over to left so the 4 small hearts at the top go over the edge of the heart.
Duplicate again and mirror.
See sample below for placement.


Hide all layers apart from the 3 Mura Meisters layers and merge visible.
Add the following Drop Shadow.
V and H = 1
Opacity = 20
Blur = 2
Colour = Black

Unhide all layers.
Click on your Heart Outline layer to activate it and with your Magic Wand click outside of it in the white area.
Go to Selections - Modify Expand by 2.
Click on the Mura Meisters layer and press Delete on your keyboard.
Deselect.
Go to Image Resize 85% ALL layers Checked - Bicubic selected.


Step 4:

Open the Monti Bow1 tube. It is unmerged so that you can colourize it to match your tube.
Once you have done that Merge Visible and copy and paste as a new layer onto your image.
Position on the left of the heart and resize if you want to.
See my tag for placement.
Duplicate this layer and go to Image - Mirror.
Right click on the top ribbon layer in the layer palette and choose merge down.
Add the following Drop Shadow to the ribbons.
V and H = 2
Opacity = 20
Blur = 4
Colour = Black


Step 5:

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer, resize if necessary and position in the center.
Add a Drop Shadow of choice. I used
Vertical = 0
Horizontal = 5
Opacity = 50
Blur = 6
Colour = Black

Add the artists copyright and your watermark.
Add your name using a font of your choice.
If you are using a thicker one like I am then set the Stroke to 2 with a darker shade from your tube and the background to a lighter shade.
Go to Objects - Align Horizontal in Canvas and convert to raster layer.
Add the following Inner Bevel.


Add the following Drop Shadow
Vertical = -2
Horizontal = 2
Opacity = 40
Blur = 3
Colour = Black

Hide your white background layer and crop to size. Unhide the white background.


Step 6: - Animation

Hide your name, tube and ribbon layers.
Copy merged and paste into Animation Shop.
In Animation Shop open the Monti Heart Bling.
You will notice it has 10 frames so you also need 10 frames of your main image.
Copy the main image and paste it after current frame until you have 10 frames of it then go to Edit - Select all.
Back on your Monti Heart Bling go to Edit - Select all - Copy.
On your main image go to Edit - Paste into Selected Frames.
Position it in the large part of your heart on the left as shown below.


Activate the Monti Heart Bling and go to Animation - Mirror.
Copy again and paste back on your main image in the opposite corner.

Back in PSP hide the White Background, Heart Fill, Heart Outline, Small Hearts and Copyright layers.
Unhide the Ribbons, Tube and Name layers and Copy Merged.
Paste as a new image in Animation Shop.
Activate your Propagate Paste button.


Copy the tube image you just pasted and paste into selected frame on your heart image making sure you line it up properly so as not to crop any of the edge.

View your animation and if you are happy with it save as a .gif.
