This was written for psp 9 but will work in other versions.
For this tutorial you will need
Paint Shop Pro
Photo Effex Scanlines - here
Unzip and put in your psp plugins folder.
Lokas 3D Shadow (optional) - here
Download and put in your psp plugins folder.
Eye Candy 4000 - Chrome

Unzip and then open in PSP.
These supplies were made by me for use in this tutorial.
Do not share them, change the file names, offer them for download or use in another tutorial without my permission.
Fonts I used.
Wintermute here
2 tubes of your choice.
One longer length tube and one smaller or a close up.
I am using the wonderful art of Michael Landefeld. You can purchase a license to use his work from CILM.
Open your tubes and supplies in psp.
Open your fonts and minimize.
Ok we are ready to start.

Step 1:
Open a new image 600 x 600. Flood fill with white.
Copy the Leather Strap tube and paste it as a new layer on your white canvas.
Image Rotate 90 degrees left.
Move it to the left of the canvas and add the following Drop Shadow
Vertical = 0
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 85
Blur = 4
Colour = Black
Duplicate and go to Image Mirror.
Duplicate again and position in the middle of the two.
Hide the background layer and merge all visible. Rename Straps.
Unhide background.
Step 2:
Open the Large Leather Frame copy and paste it on the canvas.
Position it on the right making sure the left side just covers the middle strap.

Add the same Drop Shadow.
Activate the longer length tube and go to Edit Copy.
Paste it as a new layer on your frame and resize if neccessary making sure all layers is UNchecked.
Add a Drop Shadow of your choice. I used Lokas 3D Shadow (Faint Flat Shadow).
Select your Magic Wand - Feather and Tolerance = 0
Click inside the white part of the frame.
Go to Selections - Invert and click on your tube layer in the layer palette to activate it.
Press delete on the keyboard.
Selections - Invert again and activate your frame layer.
Fill the selected white area with a dark colour from your tube.
Apply Photo Effex Scanlines with the following settings
Go to Edge Effects Enhance.
Deselect.
Hide background and Straps layers and merge all visible.
Rename Frame and unhide the other layers.
Step 3:
Open the Small Leather Frame copy and paste it on the canvas.
Position it on the left, use my tag as a guide.
Add the following Drop Shadow
Vertical = 0
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 85
Blur = 4
Colour = Black
Activate the Close Up or smaller tube and go to Edit Copy.
Paste it as a new layer on your frame and resize if neccessary making sure all layers is UNchecked.
Add a Drop Shadow of your choice. I used Lokas 3D Shadow (Faint Flat Shadow).
Select your Magic Wand - Feather and Tolerance = 0
Click inside the white part of the frame.
Go to Selections - Invert and click on your tube layer in the layer palette to activate it.
Press delete on the keyboard.
Selections - Invert again and activate your frame layer.
Fill the selected white area with a dark colour from your tube.
Apply Photo Effex Scanlines with the same settings we used earlier.
Go to Edge Effects Enhance.
Deselect.
Hide background, Frame and Straps layers and merge all visible.
Rename Small Frame and unhide the other layers.
Step 4:
Copy and paste your Name Plate as a new layer.
Position it underneath the Small Frame
Add the following Drop Shadow
Vertical = 0
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 85
Blur = 4
Colour = Black
Copy the Mini Chain tube and paste that as a new layer,
Position it so it links to the Small Frame and the Name Plate, making sure it is over the leather strap.
Add the same Drop Shadow and move below the Name Plate layer.
Duplicate and move to the other side, making sure it is lined up with the frame below.
Hide the white background layer merge all visible and crop image.
Resize by 85%, Bicubic selected, ALL layers Checked.
Unhide background.
Add the artists copyright and your watermark.
Step 5:
Select your text tool. Font Wintermute. Foreground and Background - White. Size 36, Kerning - 50, Vector.
Type your name.
Click apply and use your nodes to stretch it to fit.
Convert to Raster layer.
Apply Eye Candy 4000 - Chrome with the following settings.
Go to Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance
Add the following Drop Shadow
Vertical = 4
Horizontal = 3
Opacity = 85
Blur = 4
Colour = Black
You can either save it like that or copy my chain tube and paste that as a new layer.
Position it in the corner of the frame.
Add a drop shadow of your choice.
Duplicate and position in the other frame corners.
Save as a jpg
