For this tutorial you will need
Paint Shop Pro
Animation Shop
The Following Colour Chart.
Left click and when it opens right click then save as, then open in PSP.
Ok we are ready to start.

We will be be making the Holly shown above. The outline below has been resized a lot so you can see it clearly.
To make this easier I have numbered all pixels over 1.

Step 1: Holly Outline
Open a new image 150 x 150 transparent.
Select the brush tool with the following settings.
Size = 1
Hardness, Opacity and Density = 100
Zoom in to about 800% - 1000%
Set your foreground to colour 1 on the outline colour chart (#1B4F19) and start drawing your outline.
I started at the top of the holly.
Change your colours as you go.
The berries are done in colour 3 on your colour chart (#6B120B).
Step 2 Leaf Fills
When your outline is complete, select your magic wand with the following settings and click inside the bottom holly leaf.

Flood fill this selection with colour 2 on your colour chart (#3E783F).
Keep selected.
Selections float, Effects 3D effects, Cutout with the following settings
Vertical= 0
Horizontal= 0
Opacity = 100
Blur = 5
Shadow colour = Use your holly outline.(#1B4F19)
Make sure fill interior with colour is UNchecked.
REPEAT cutout.
Deselect.

Select your magic wand and click inside the left holly leaf making sure you select the stray pixel shown in the image below.

Flood fill this selection with colour 2 on your colour chart (#3E783F).
Keep selected.
Selections float, Effects 3D effects, Cutout with the following settings
Vertical= 0
Horizontal= 0
Opacity = 100
Blur = 5
Shadow colour = Use your holly outline.(#1B4F19)
Make sure fill interior with colour is UNchecked.
REPEAT cutout.
Deselect.

Select your magic wand and click inside the top holly leaf.
Flood fill this selection with colour 2 on your colour chart (#3E783F).
Keep selected.
Selections float, Effects 3D effects, Cutout with the following settings
Vertical= 0
Horizontal= 0
Opacity = 100
Blur = 6
Shadow colour = Use your holly outline.(#1B4F19)
Make sure fill interior with colour is UNchecked.
REPEAT cutout.
Deselect.
Step 3 Berry Fills
Select your magic wand and click inside the top berry.
Flood fill this selection with colour 4 on your colour chart (#B23A3A).
Keep selected.
Selections float, Effects 3D effects, Cutout with the following settings
Vertical= -3
Horizontal= 5
Opacity = 80
Blur = 7
Shadow colour = Use your berry outline.(#6B120B)
Make sure fill interior with colour is UNchecked.
Deselect.

Select your magic wand and click inside the bottom berry.
Flood fill this selection with colour 4 on your colour chart (#B23A3A).
Keep selected.
Selections float, Effects 3D effects, Cutout with the following settings
Vertical= 3
Horizontal= -5
Opacity = 80
Blur = 7
Shadow colour = Use your berry outline.(#6B120B)
Make sure fill interior with colour is UNchecked.
Deselect.

Select your magic wand and click inside the right berry.
Flood fill this selection with colour 4 on your colour chart (#B23A3A).
Keep selected.
Selections float, Effects 3D effects, Cutout with the following settings
Vertical= -3
Horizontal= 5
Opacity = 80
Blur = 7
Shadow colour = Use your berry outline.(#6B120B)
Make sure fill interior with colour is UNchecked.
Deselect.
Merge all visible and open animation shop.
Copy and paste into animation shop and save as a .gif.
