A Font of your choice
I used Satisfaction which is a pay font so I cannot supply it.

A tube of your choice.
I am using the wonderful art of Keith Garvey. You can purchase a license to use his work from www.mypsptubes.com.

Open the tubes in PSP. Open the font and minimize it.

Ok we are ready to start.

REMEMBER TO SAVE OFTEN

You can drag this arrow down the page with you to keep your place in the tut.
Script provided by Dynamic Drive.

Step 1:

Open your supplies in PSP, colourize your paper to match your tube.
Open a 500 x 500 white canvas.
Promote background to layer.
Choose Pre-set Shape - Rectangle with foreground black and background white.
Solid line with width 4.
Draw a long slender rectangle about ¼ the size of the canvas.
Convert to raster.
Activate the Deformation tool or Pick on PSP X.
Hold down your Shift key and pull the corners of one side closer together, refer to example.
Duplicate this layer twice, rename Panel 1, Panel 2 and Panel 3.
Mirror one of the layers.
Use your move tool to create the folded look. Use the screen shot below for a reference.

Step 2:

Activate the first screen layer, go to Selections - Select All - Float - Selections - Modify Contract by 2.
Add a new layer and flood fill the new layer with the colourized paper.
Selections - Modify - Contract by 10
Now hit delete on the keyboard.
Selections - None.
You should have the frame inside the first panel.
Repeat these same steps for the other two panels remembering to add a new layer for each one.
Rename them Frame 1, Frame 2 and Frame 3.
Go back to the first colourized paper frame (Frame 1) and add a large blurry Drop Shadow.
I used Eye Candy 5 - Impact - Perspective Shadow - Drop Shadow, Lowest but then I adjusted the Center Offset to zero.
Repeat for the other two frames.

Step 3:

On your layer palette click on Panel 1 to activate it.
Activate your magic wand, and click inside the white area.
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer above the white but below Frame 1.
I resized my tube by 75%, Bicubic selected to make more of the body fit.
Selections - Invert.
Make sure you are on the image layer and then hit delete on your keyboard.
Put a very faint Drop Shadow on your image.
I used Eye Candy 5 - Impact - Perspective Shadow - Drop Shadow, Lowest.
I kept the center offset at zero, but adjusted the Opacity to 50 and the Blur to 15.
Repeat for Panel 2 and Panel 3.

Step 4:

On your layer palette click back on Panel 1 to activate it.
Select your Magic Wand and click inside the panel.
Apply Eye Candy 5 - Impact - Brushed Metal - Stroke - Linear - Angle 270 - Color #E2E2E2 - Highlight Sharpness 33 - Grain Contrast 6 - Grain Length 115
Repeat this on all three white layers.
If you don't have Eye Candy 5 Impact you can use a pattern or gradient of your choice.

Step 5:

I added the chain to embellish it a little.
Copy and paste the chain as a new layer.
Resize by 75% and move to cover the two longer lines that meet. Use your Deform tool to pull it a bit longer.
I duplicated this layer and moved it to the other join in the frames.
Resize by 80% to make it look further away and use your Deform tool to stretch it to fit in height.
Add a slight Drop Shadow to each, Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow
I used
Vertical and Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 75
Blur = 1
Colour = Black

Add your artist copyright and your watermark.
Add your name and save as a .jpg.
