This goes against the artists TOU that I use for my tuts and against my TOU.

This was written for psp 7 but will work in other versions.

For this tutorial you will need

Paint Shop Pro

SuperBlade Pro.

A Silver SBP preset of your choice.
If you do not have SBP experiment using silver textures, gradients or Eye Candy.

A Tube or more of your choice
I am using the gorgeous work of Guy Powers. You can purchase a license to use his work from Up Your Art
Open them in psp and minimize. I will tell you how to make them black and white in the tut.

A Font of your Choice
Open and minimize.

Ok we are ready to start.

REMEMBER TO SAVE OFTEN

You can drag this arrow down the page with you to keep your place in the tut.
Script provided by Dynamic Drive.

Step 1:

Open a new image 400x400 and floodfill with white.
Maximize your tubes and decide which one or two at most you want to keep coloured and minimize those again.
Leave the others open, click on each one and go to Adjust - Hue and Saturation - and change both to 0. This will make your image Black & White.

Step 2:

Copy and paste your black and white tubes as new layers onto your white image.
I am only using one tube so I moved mine to the side and then duplicated and mirrored the tube.
Resize as necessary. Rearrange until you are happy with their position.
Add a faint Drop Shadow to the tubes.
Then add the colour image as a new layer, again resize and position. The coloured tube needs to be central in the image, you will see why later.
Add the same Drop Shadow.
When you are happy with the way it looks merge all layers visible.

Step 3:

Go to Selections/ Select all/ Float. Then go to Selections Modify/ Contract by 8.
Selections/ Invert. Then Selections/ Promote to Layer.
Floodfill this selection with white and apply your chosen Silver SBP preset. Seletions/ Select none.
Duplicate this layer and go to image resize with the following settings.
Percentage of Original 90x90.
Resize Type: Bicubic resample.
Resize All Layers UNCHECKED.

Step 4:
Duplicate the copy of promoted layer and resize again by 75%. Copy and paste this as a new image.
Select your magic wand and click inside the smaller frame. Selections/ Modify expand by 1.
Activate your merged layer by clicking on it and select copy and paste as a New Layer on the Frame image you just made.
Layers/ Arrange/ Send to Bottom. Deselect.
Add the following Drop Shadow to the frame.
V and H = 0
Opacity = 100
Blur = 4
Colour = black

Layers/ Merge all visible.

Step 5:
Activate your single frame image we just made and go to image resize. Resize by 45% making sure Bicubic and All Layers are selected.
Image/ Rotate using the settings shown below. Make sure All Layers is Checked.

Go to Adjust - Sharpen.
Copy and paste it as a new layer on your main image and position where you want it. Bring that layer to the top.
Duplicate this layer and resize by 60% making sure All Layers is UNCHECKED.
Image Mirror and position it where you want it.

Add the following Drop Shadow to the Frame layers and the smaller images you just copied and pasted onto the image.
V and H = 2
Opacity = 45
Blur = 4
Colour = black

Add the following Drop Shadow to the Frame layers and the smaller images you just copied and pasted onto the image.
V and H = -2
Opacity = 45
Blur = 4
Colour = black

Your image should now look similar to the one shown below.

Step 6:
Select your font. I am using Mason.ttf.
Set your foreground and background to White. Type in your text, the size will depend on the font you are using.
Make sure Antialias and Vector are checked. Use your vector nodes to stretch it out and up so that it fits the length of the middle frame, the bottom of the letters sitting on that frame, and the top stretching up above the smaller one.
Go to Objects - Align - Horizontal In Canvas and convert to Raster Layer, Select all/ Float and apply the same Silver SBP preset you used before. Deselect.
Apply the following drop Shadow to your text.

Vertical = 4
Horizontal = 6
Opacity = 100
Blur = 6
Colour = Black

Merge all layers visible, add the artists copyright, your watermark and save as a .jpg.
Congratulations you now have your finished Tag.
