REMEMBER TO SAVE OFTEN
You can drag this arrow down the page with you to keep your place in the tut.
Script provided by Dynamic Drive.
Step 1:
Open 3 Papers from your kit in PSP and minimize. Open the Ribbons you want to use, I used Monti-SpringDayz-DoubleRibbon-Pink.png and Monti-SpringDayz-TripleRibbon-Pink.png. Open one of the rivets and the tube you wish to use in PSP.
You can either colourize the kit to match your tube, or if the artist of the tube you are using allows it, you can colourize the tube to match the kit.
You can use my colourizing tutorial for instructions on how to do this.
Step 2:
Open a new image 600 x 600 and flood fill with white.
Set your foreground to a dark colour from your tube and set your background pattern and choose a scrap paper to match your foreground colour.
Select Preset Shapes - Circle and set your line width to 3 - Solid line.
Draw out a circle about 400 x 400 pixels. Go to Objects - Align - Center in Canvas.
Convert to raster layer and rename circle.
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer, resize if necessary and then duplicate. Hide the duplicate layer.
In the layer palette click on your circle layer to activate it.
Select your magic wand, feather and tolerance 0 and click outside your circle.
Go to Selections - Modify - Expand by 3 and then click on your original tube layer and press delete on your keyboard.
Deselect.
Unhide your duplicate tube layer and click on it in the layer palette to activate it.
Select your Selections Tool - Rectangle- and draw a selection around the bottom part of the tube that overlaps the circle as shown below.

Press Delete on your keyboard.
Unhide the duplicate tube layer, hide all other layers apart from your two tube layers and merge those visible.
Rename tube.
Hide the tube layer while we work on the rest of the tag.
Select your Preset Shapes again, still on Cirlce, line width 3 but change the line style to one of your choice, I used Diamonds.
Leave your foreground on the same colour but null your background.
Draw another circle slightly larger than the last one.
Go to Objects - Align - Center in Canvas.
Convert to raster layer and rename Circle Line.
Step 3:
Still on Preset Shapes change the shape to a Star.
Set your background to a different coloured scrap paper and your foreground to a dark shade of the colour of the paper.
Change your line style back to solid, keep the width at 3.
Draw out a star shape about 450 x 450 pixels.
Go to Objects - Align - Center in Canvas.
Convert to raster layer and rename Star.
Stay on Preset Shapes, still on Star, line width 3 but change the line style to one of your choice, I used Long Short Dash.
Leave your foreground on the same colour but null your background.
Draw another star slightly larger than the first one.
Go to Objects - Align - Center in Canvas.
Convert to raster layer and rename Star Line.
Step 4:
Maximize your Double Ribbons and colourize if required, to match your circle background.
Go to Image Resize - 70% Bicubic selected.
Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Go to image flip.
Move this layer underneath your Star and Star Line layers.
Duplicate the Double Ribbons layer and go to Image Mirror.
Hide all layers apart from the two Double Ribbon layers, merge these visible and rename Ribbons.
Unhide the other layers apart from your tube layer.
Step 5:
Mamimize your Rivet. Colourize if needed to match your star background.
Go to Image Resize - 90% Bicubic selected.
Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas and move it to the top of the Star Line. Rename Rivet
Maximize your Triple Ribbons and colourize if required, to match your circle background.
Go to Image - Free Rotate - Left 90 degrees.
Go to Image - Resize - 85%, making sure all layers in UNchecked.
Move it so the top of the ribbon touches the rivet and zoom in.
Select your Lasoo tool set to point to point, feather 0 and select the straight edges at the top of the Triple Ribbon so you are left with a point.
See screen shot below.

Press Delete on your keyboard. Deselect.
Go to Image - Free Rotate - Right 17 degrees.
Move into position so the point is in the center of the rivet. Duplicate and go to Image Mirror.
Hide all layers except for these two triple ribbon layers and merge all visible.
Rename Triple Ribbons.
Unhide all layers and move your tube layer to the top.
Step 6: Drop Shadows

Apply the same Drop Shadow to the Triple Ribbons and the Rivet layers.
Activate the Tube layer and add the following Drop Shadow.
Vertical = 0
Horizontal = 4
Opacity = 40

Step 7:
Select your Text tool and choose your thick font.
Set your foreground to the colour you used for your circle outline and the background to pattern using a scrap paper to match the colour.
Set your Stroke width to 2 and make sure Vector is checked.
I used Broadway font - size 72 (the size you choose will depend on the font chosen) and type out your name using all Capital letters.
Go to Objects - Align - Horizontal Center in Canvas.
Convert to Raster layer and add the following Inner Bevel.

Add the following Drop Shadow.
Vertical = 0
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 40
Blur = 8
Colour = Black
Change your foreground and background to the colour used for your Star outline.
Change your font to a Script one of your choice and change the line width to 1.
I used Internatonal Palms - size 48 (the size you choose will depend on the font chosen) and type out your name.

Add the artists copyright and your watermark.
Hide your background layer and Crop to size.
Unhide the background and merge all visible.
Step 8: Animation
Open Animation Shop. Copy and paste your tag into Animation Shop.
Open your Bling Heart tube in Animation Shop. Note how many frames it has.
The one I am using has 21 frames so we need to duplicate our tag until that has 21 frames.
Once you have 21 frames of your tag go to Edit - Select All.
Activate your Bling tube and go to Edit - Select All with that too.
Copy and paste the Bling animation onto your tag frames.
I placed the small part of the bling frame that you can see just inside the circle to the left of the bottom left star point.
View your animation and if you are happy with it save as a .gif.
