A Font of your choice
I used Satisfaction which is a pay font so I cannot supply it.
A tube of your choice.
I am using the wonderful art of Keith Garvey. You can purchase a license to use his work
from www.mypsptubes.com.
Open the tube in PSP. Open the fonts and minimize them.
Ok we are ready to start.
REMEMBER TO SAVE OFTEN
You can drag this arrow down the page with you to keep your place in the tut.
Script provided by Dynamic Drive.
Step 1:
Open a new image 500 x 500 White. Promote the background layer.
On your white background layer go to Effects, Crescent Moon - Warm Cloth with the settings shown below.
Note:
If you find a color you want to use from your tube, take note of the R/G/B numbers.
A little bit of math will get an effect that is very close to your tube color.
I know math, yuck! But it works!!
Subtract each value from 255 (the maximum value for a hue), put that number in the reduction spot for each color.
Example: my red number was 250… so it’s only 5 for the red reduction value.
OR
Apply with my settings and then go to Adjust - Hue Saturation and colourize to match your tube.

Duplicate this layer. On the original bottom layer go to Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance and then reduce the opacity of that layer to 60.
Reduce the opacity of the duplicate layer to 50.
Step 2:
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer so you can use it to guage how big you want the Diamond shape to be.
Select your preset shapes and set it to Diamond 2.
Create as Vector and Antialias checked
Solid Line, Line width 5, Miter Limit 6
Foreground and Background both set to white.
Draw a diamond about as tall as your tube and as wide as you like.
Convert to Raster layer and apply Crescent Moon - Warm Cloth to it with the same settings you used earlier.
Go to Effects -Eye Candy 5 Impact - Brushed Metal.
Under settings click on Handbrushed Steel, and under Basic set the angle to 0 and the Metal Colour to a colour a few shades darker than that used in the Warm Cloth filter.
Then just click on Random until you are happy with how it looks.
Step 3:
Select your Magic Wand and click inside the Diamond.
Selections - Modify - Expand by 4
Duplicate this layer and hide the duplicate.Click on the original gradient layer and apply Effects Eye Candy 4000 - Jiggle with the following settings.

Unhide the Duplicate layer and apply Xenofex 1 - Little Fluffy Clouds with the settings shown below.
NOTE: This plugin will cover the entire canvas. Don’t freak out!

Select your magic wand again, and then activate the Diamond layer.
Click inside the Diamond and go to Selections - Modify - Expand by 4 - Selections Invert.
Now click on the Clouds layer to activate it and hit delete on the keyboard.
Deselect.
Okay, I also wanted to remove the clouds from the bottom half of my Diamond.
Use the freehand selection tool set to Point to Point. Select the area where you don’t want the clouds, make sure you are on the clouds layer and hit delete on the keyboard.
Click on the Diamond layer to activate it and add a Drop Shadow.
I used Lokas 3D with the following settings

Step 4:
Activate your tube layer and go to Layers - Arrange - Bring to Top.
Move it into position so that one leg overlaps the edge of the diamond so it looks like she is stepping out of it.
Once you are happy with the position duplicate the tube layer and drag one below the Diamond layer in the layer palette.
Activate the top tube again and use your lasoo tool to select the part of her leg/foot that is inside the triangle and hit delete on the keyboard.
If there are bits of shoe from the lower tube layer, delete those too.
Add the same Drop Shadow as above to the bottom tube layer.
Hide the two background layers and Merge all Visible.
Copy and paste your tube again as a new layer and resize by 80% making sure all Layers is UNchecked.
Then go to Effects - Photo Effects - Sepia Toning - 25 years.
I moved this layer right below the Diamond layer and then moved the sepia toned image to the side a bit.
Add a lighter Drop Shadow.
Merge All - Flatten.
Add the artist copyright and any licensing information if needed and your watermark.
Personalize and you're done!
I hope you enjoyed my first tutorial.
