For this tutorial you will need

Animation Shop
- Optional

Filters Unlimited 2 Optional
Eye Candy 4000 - If animating

A Font of your choice
I used Hurricane font which is a pay font so I cannot supply.

A Tube of your Choice.
I am using the excellent artwork of Michael Landefeld. You can purchase a license to use his work from CILM.
I used one of the close-ups along with the normal size tube.

Ok we are ready to start.

REMEMBER TO SAVE OFTEN

You can drag this arrow down the page with you to keep your place in the tut.
Script provided by Dynamic Drive.

Step 1:

Open a new transparent image 650 x 500 pixels.
Set your Foreground to Metallic Gold 01 gradient or a gold gradient of your choice and your Background to a light colour from your tube. I used a tan colour.
Select your Preset Shapes, set to Rectangle and a line width of 2.
Draw out a rectangle until you are happy with the size - see my tag above as a guide.
Go to Objects - Align - Center in Canvas and convert to Raster layer.
Go to Selections - Select All - Float - Selections - Modify - Contract by 2.

Activate the Close Up tube you want to use - I mirrored mine.
Copy and paste as a new layer onto the rectangle and move to your desired position.
When yu are happy with the positioning go to Selections - Invert and then press the delete key (this will get rid of any excess image outside of the rectangle). Click back onto the rectangle layer, and do the same as above with the normal sized tube.
Deselect.

Activate the Rectangle layer and select your Magic Wand - Feather = 0 - Tolerance = 10, then click on any part of the coloured area with the magic wand.
Go to Filters Unlimited 2 and select Paper Textures - Fibrous Paper Coarse and click on Apply.
If you don't have Filters unlimited 2 use a Texture Effect of your choice.
Deselect.

Step 2:

Select your Preset Shapes - Rectangle using the same settings we used earlier, draw out a smaller box. See tag for guide.
When you are happy with the shape convert to a raster layer.
Duplicate this box twice, and position to your liking.
Copy the tube you want to use.
Click inside the box with your magic wand and paste the tube as a new layer.
Position to your liking then go to Selections - Invert to get rid of the excess image.
Repeat this with your other two boxes.
Step 3:

Now to the three vertical bars. Set your Foreground to the same gold gradient you used earlier and the Background to the light colour from your tube.
Still on your Preset Shapes - Rectangle - Line width = 2, draw out the three thin rectangles.
I do each one on a seperate layer, so as I can move them about individually. See tag for guide.

Add your name and all copyright details and you're finished unless you want to animate. If so please read on!

Step 3: - Animation

Hide all layers apart from your 3 Vertical bars and merge those visible. Unhide the other layers.
If you want add a slight Drop Shadow to the Vertical bars.
Select the inside of the bars with your Magic Wand.
Go to Effects - Eye Candy 4000, and select HSB Noise then click on OK.
Deselect.
Go to Edit - Copy Merged.
Now over to Animation Shop.
Right click on the canvas and choose Paste as New Animation.

Back to PSP.
Go to Edit - Undo Select None and then Edit - undo HSB Noise.
Apply HSB Noise again but this time click on Random Seed.
Deselect
Go to Edit - Copy Merged.
Back over to Animation Shop and go to Edit - Paste - After Current Frame.

Back to PSP.
Go to Edit - Undo Select None and then Edit - undo HSB Noise.
Apply HSB Noise again and click on Random Seed again.
Deselect
Go to Edit - Copy Merged.
Back over to Animation Shop and go to Edit - Paste - After Current Frame.

Now to have a look at your animated tag click on View - Animation.

Save your work and you're finished!
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
